Welcome to Deeds of Arms!

Murmillo prepares for assaultDeeds of Arms is a Hampshire based society of historical players specialising in the Gladiatorial Combat of the 2nd Century AD, Stage Combat and the fait d'armes of the 1360s!

We have held demonstrations in countries including, the UK, Italy (Rome), Holland, France & Germany. As well as over 30 European sites which include Archeon, Portsmouth Historic Dockyards, Kalkriese, The Royal Armouries, The British Museum, Peterborough Cathedral, Lulworth Castle, Bavay & Dover Castle. We have supplied consultancy, equipment, members, fighters and fight choreographers for many projects including The History Channel, numerous theatre productions, Sky TV, BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Tiger Aspect, Shine & multiple book publishers.

The centre piece of many of our events is our prefabricated modular building. Whether inside a museum, large grounds or other location the building houses exhibits, people, equipment or is the centre stage for our plays as a tavern, armoury, workshop, stables or other configuration.
