'Deeds' comprises of three main sections, these sections are:
- Deeds of Arms: 150 - The gladiatorial life of the 2nd Century AD
- Deeds of Arms: 1360 - Recreating the fait d'armes of the mid to late 14th Century
- Deeds of Arms: Stage Combat - Theatre fighting at its most inventive
Each section draws upon the similar skills required for each while specialising in each given part. The primary emphasis throughout is entertainment. Whether we have been demonstrating for documentary, The British Museum or Children's TV we always make it as much fun as possible for all involved increasing their experience of the project and leaving them with a lasting, positive impression.
Deeds: 150 specialises in the often peculiar life of Ancient Rome's 2nd Century gladiators. Whether it's the massed fights of the noxii, tactical bouts of the heavy scutarii or the merchandising and slavery surrounding the 'trade' we bring it all to life for museums, historical events, film or corporate functions.
Deeds: 1360 is hot off the presses! Launced this year, we will be recreating all levels of the often famous fait d'armes of the mid to late 14th Century in Northern Europe and England as well as other living history from the period.
Deeds: Stage Combat while the previous two sections concentrate solely on one time period, ensuring the equipment and knowledge is of a museum quality Deeds: Stage Combat allows us to stretch our imaginative wings and be involved in many different costume projects. From theatre to private entertainment Deeds: Stage Combat is dedicated to bringing the highest levels of professionalism to its entertainment. It has seen us firing the only working cannon from the Battle of Trafalgar, fighting aboard the HMS Victory, facing the charging horses of Napoleon's cavalry to scaring the public on the Halloween Trails of October.
