The three sections below will tell you in more
specific details of the three types of events we are most frequentally
hired for. We have also been hired for large parties, school talks and country fetes.
Whatever
the needs of the project you are planning, with the diversity of
experience that our years of experience has brought us, we are certain that we can work

Museum Display
Well aware of the limitations of space and the constant drive
to minimise costs we have created a reduced unit which will work
well within the constraints of local museums.
2006 saw the creation and development of our new Museum
Display team, designed to provide reduced scale highlights specifically for museums.
Pressure to have full events lists, at the minimum cost, is a
constant headache for many events managers. Through our experiences
working with museum managers, we understand the limitations of space,
as well as budget, which can be major decision factors when hosting
such special events.
We can provide a range of presentations and activities across
the day incorporating the static display, hands on sessions and,
when space allows, combat demonstrations to entertain and educate
the attending public.
Our museum quality display centres on a cross section period
building, completely prefabricated, that can be configured to meet
the varied space limitations of most galleries. This display can
represent the open end of an armoury or a complete building depending
upon the space available and what you consider appropriate. The
team consists of 5-6 members, more if you feel this would better
fit your situation, all who have experience delivering presentations,
equipment handling and much more.
To further help reduce costs for you we arrange all events individually,
configuring the display to fit your budget. Please do not hesitate
to
contact us to discuss your event
and find a solution for them.
Living History
With direct access to the largest gladiatorial equipment display
in the UK, weekly trained fighters, artisan skills like a jeweller,
black smith, armourer and stone mason you know you will be getting
your monies worth.
The core of our living history work is the high gladiatorial period
of the 2nd Century, both in and out of the display arena. Our munus
displays include criminals, female gladiators, light and heavily
armed gladiators, harenarii, umpires, editors, announcer, and medicus. At the end of the year (2008) we will be announcing the inclusion of
Deeds: 1360 in the museum quality section of our living history arms.
In addition to the munus displays we will encourage the public
to enjoy the spectacle of the gladiatorial life with direct participation,
from the childrens combat to the opportunity to wear the equipment
and gain direct access to museum quality hardware.
Containing a thoroughbred gladiatorial arm, we can
bring all the above and much more to bear; to bring a truly unique
gladiatorial event complete with sights, sounds and smells of the
munus to your site.
If however you would prefer a more costume affair for your event we have our own full theatrical costume department available to us. this enables us to bring full costumes for just about any period to life on your location complete with all the standard services we offer. From Viking raiders to fops and dandies to sailors in Nelsons Navy we have costume for them all.
Depending upon your budget and what you feel is appropriate for
your event we are certain that we can bring you the solution you
are after.

Film, TV & Theatre
"You have saved the entire shoot." Is possibly the highest praise
we have received for our filming work.
Broad experience in front of the camera means we are able to
deliver repeatable skills for all manner of projects. From the classical
world of the gladiator, through Napoleonic warfare, to modern day
riot control we deliver the action when and where it is needed –
in the frame.
"More than just hack 'n slash!"
As we specialize in stage combat we can repeat choreographed
sequences, sometimes minutes long, over and over again. This enables
productions on a budget to deliver full coverage from only a single
camera, giving the editor multiple takes and angles to cut together
cinematic fight sequences that deliver real drama on the screen.
We recognize time on location is of a premium; our combatants
are professional and well rehearsed, giving the director the most
flexibility on the day without having to work to hide smiling faces,
missed blows or idling extras.
Each team comes with a qualified first aider, fight master and
choreographer. We can also provide historical consultation on request.
Do not hesitate to
contact us to discuss your project,
costs and find a solution for it.
